Getting Here
Public transport is the easiest and quickest way to get in and out of Melbourne Showgrounds during MotorEx. If using public transport, walk to Gate 1 on Epsom Road to enter the event.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: All public transport across Victoria is free throughout all of May!
Train
A direct train to Melbourne Showgrounds from Flinders Street (Platform 1) will depart from 10:40am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Bus
Two bus routes service the Melbourne Showgrounds area:
- Bus 472 – Williamstown to Moonee Ponds, stopping along Langs Road
- Bus 404 – Footscray to Moonee Ponds, stopping at the corner of Epsom Road and Ascot Vale Road
Tram
The Route 57 tram runs from West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City and stops at:
- Stop 32 – Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre, Epsom Road
Please note Stop 33 is no longer in use.

Parking
Spectator parking is located at Flemington Racecourse north car park.
Access
- Enter via Flemington Drive
- Flemington Drive can only be accessed by turning left off Epsom Road
- Avoid Langs Road when travelling to the event where possible
Parking fee
- $30 daily fee per vehicle
- Parking is operated independently by Flemington Racecourse
- From the car park, it is a short walk to Gate 8 for entry to the event.

- Sunday: 11am to 4:00pm
