Heading up north, MotorEx Cruise for Charity landed in Townsville, Queensland for what would be a cracker of an event! Utilising the Townsville Showgrounds for the day, 325 vehicles of all makes and models lined the grounds showing off all North Queensland had to offer and raising a whopping $16,141.35! That is near double from last years event, a huge effort from everyone involved.
The team from Townsville Mechanic Services were faced with a hurdle, after their dyno blew up late Saturday night, a mere 12 hours before Cruise for Charity began. The automotive community banded together, and the team from Whitehouse Street Mechanical answered the call and donated their dyno for the day.
The dyno was in full swing from 10:00 am, and it was the last two cars that blew away all previous records. Trumping all competitors to date with a huge 1187.5 rwhp!
