After making the Top 20 at Summernats in 2000 Leisa and Shane Chinnock decided they wanted to go all the way for a full Elite build. They also knew they wanted a coupe, so unlike most people and going out buying a coupe, they cut their XF Falcon sedan up and made it a coupe. Along with the 2 door conversion it has a severe roof chop, reverse opening bonnet, full metal front and rear bumper bar assemblies and almost every other panel customised. It spent 5 years with 2 fab shops in Tassie then on to Maskell’s Customs & Classic cars in Shepparton for body, House of Kolor paint, interior and finishing. Now named “Psycho” it finally debuted at MotorEx in 2011 to a stunned crowd.

It has gone on to win almost every award over the last 2 years including Meguiars Superstar Best of Breed, Summernats top Judged,  twice, all state title shows and many category awards and cover of Street Machine. It is a real family affair with all the crew trekking around Australia setting up and cleaning the car several times per year. Leisa and Shane are a good example of a team that set out with a plan, stuck to it and achieved their goals. Congratulations to them on all their achievements, check out the car when it comes to a city near you.
