As Christmas draws near, it means MotorEx Cruise for Charity has also drawn to a close for another very successful year. The 2014 season will be remembered for many reasons, the most prominent will be passionate, die-hard nature of our cruisers. Given five of 2014’s seven Cruise for Charity events were rain effected it was overwhelming that at total of 3938 stunning vehicles and a far greater number of generous and enthusiastic spectators didn’t let the unfavourable weather conditions deter them. All those who got involved were rewarded with good times and even better memories. We would like to pass on a massive, heartfelt thank you from the deserving kids helped by Camp Quality via the total of $176,435.09 raised in 2014. This is a fantastic effort, congratulations!

None of these events could have been possible without the small army of helpful volunteers who selflessly donated their time. Along with the clubs, community groups and valued national sponsors including; Just Car Insurance, Lowe Fabrications, Dyno Dynamics, Disc Brakes Australia and Turbosmart. Please repay their support, by supporting them whenever possible.

Having been a huge hit with the crowd, as well as raising $2500 on its own, the Smashing Tyres burnout demonstrations and ride auctions in WA, VIC and NSW will definitely be back for 2015.

The Liqui-Moly Hunt for Horsepower was another popular feature with Townsville Mechanical Services and their twin-turbo VE setting the winning run of 1187.5rwhp.

Stay tuned for a number of innovations, added features and big announcements for the upcoming 2015 MotorEx Cruise for Charity season. We’re still locking in dates, however the first event will run in Western Australia, on Sunday, September 20.
