Readers of three major car magazines in Germany voted LIQUI MOLY the market leader once again this year. “The quality of a motor oil is not limited to its technical values and OEM approvals; how it is perceived by car owners is also a major factor”, said Ernst Prost (Liqui-Moly CEO). “That is why we always await the results of the reader polls with great anticipation.”

The magazine Auto Zeitung asked its 620,000 readers to rate their personal top brands. In the category ‘Lubricants’ LIQUI MOLY took first place – for the fourth year in a row. Followed by Castrol, Mobil and Shell. The next poll was performed by the magazine Auto Bild with 2.6 million readers. In the lubricant category LIQUI MOLY was victorious taking first place for the third year in sequence. Again LIQUI MOLY outpaced Castrol and Mobil. And finally the magazine Auto Motor und Sport published the results of their reader poll. 3.09 million readers. The result for lubricants was also: LIQUI MOLY – for the fourth year in a row in front of Castrol and Mobil.

“Such success is not a matter of chance; it’s the result of hard work, day in and day out”, stated Ernst Prost. “Even after four years in succession, these awards are not a matter of course for us; they remain a great honour. The readers have decided, that the middle-sized company LIQUI MOLY offers better products and better service than all the global corporations. “This result has strengthened LIQUI MOLY’s strategy of focusing on quality. We are presently investing 20 million Euros to expand our production and laboratory capacities.
