The snarling, barking TCM beasts are off to Winton this weekend – the first time since 2010. Naturally, series heavyweight and MotorActive brand ambassador, John Bowe, will be doing his level best to retain top spot on the TCM leader board. “I love racing at Winton,” says JB. “I’ve done a lot of testing there over the years and have a good feel for the place. It’s also the people that Winton attracts. There’s a lot of car heads there that come from all over the greater Goulburn Valley area, including Shepparton, Echuca, Bendigo, etc.”

TCM has always been popular and continually attracts fresh, new entrants all the time. “There’ll be two new entries this weekend,” says JB. “Ian Palmer will be debuting his Pontiac Firebird – a Camaro with a different nose. And keeping with TCM’s pre-75 cut off, Tony Hunter has built a 1971 Chevy Monza. Another guy who has made a big commitment is Bruce McLeod, who’s dragged his XA GT Superbird all the way from Darwin.” With three races over two days and a healthy grid of 25-odd cars, round two of the ENZED Touring Car Masters Series is sure to be a rip snorter.
