With a delectably curvaceous body that’s every bit as sexy as any Victoria Secret bombshell, Andrew Mitchell’s Gold Rush leaves mouths agape wherever it goes. Loosely based on a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr, this radical custom will no doubt grab plenty of attention as a Meguiar’s Superstars Qualifier for MotorEx Sydney (July 25-26). That slinky fibreglass body is supported by a ’39 Ford chassis that has been updated with a Fatman Fabrications Stage IV front suspension and triangulated four-link, along with airbags all ’round to drop it on the deck when parked up. Thanks to its late model LS1 power plant and electronic four-speed auto Andrew has racked up over 8000 hassle-free kilometres!
