Held on Sunday 13th October, MotorEx Cruise for Charity Extra NT had a cracking day set raising money for Camp Quality and watching the Bathurst 1000!
Over 70 cars attended the cruise raising $4,958.35! Such a great result for the first volunteer coordinated event in 2013.
Some of the car clubs and work shops donated extra on the day including Stand Still Racing who upped their donation to $400, KC Kustoms Panel and Paint donated a huge $1500, Car Wash City generously donated $250 and Walkinshaw Performance donated a $2,000 gift voucher which was auctioned off on the day.
Some of the great prizes on the day included some trophies for best paint, engine bay and overall car. These were taken out by some amazing cars. A 57 Chevy took out the Best Overall Car, the lead car a one of one Walkinshaw VE was awarded with the Best Paint award and a tidy ford focus took home the trophy for Best Engine Bay.
The volunteer coordinator Mitch Doyle, worked long and hard over the last few months to create such a successful event, and we are all grateful for all the effort! Without volunteers like Mitch, we wouldn’t have events in the smaller states.
